Kyoto Animation is working on filling in some staff positions while also filling roles for its animation training program.

As we continue to bow our heads, remembering what the Kyoto Animation has lost, the studio appears to be looking for new staffers for employment as well as its animation classes.

The openings are wide, including the likes of 3D modelers, riggers, “aspiring artists,” and more. They’re also accepting applicants for sister studio, Animation DO’s animation training program that spans from early October 2020 to late September 2021. Applicants, which should be aged between 18 to 25, have to send the proper documentation in by July 27, 2020.

It’s almost been a whole year since the fire that plagued Kyoto Animation and took the lives of several staffers including Lucky Star director, Yasuhiro Takemoto, sparked. In the end, officials apprehended the 41-year-old suspect. He didn’t have any professional ties with the company nor did he have solid evidence of his claim they plagiarized his submission.
