Shiro Manta’s My Senpai is Annoying is getting an anime adaption.
My Senpai is Annoying is getting an anime adaption courtesy of Doga Kobo. Beginning life as a webcomic, this Seven Seas published romcom is best described as a manga focusing on an office worker – Igarashi – being interrupted by her higher-up – Takeda – all the time. According to its official description, it’s “sure to charm audiences of workplace comedies like Aggretsuko and The Office.”
The manga is far from little known. While it initially launched on the comic-sharing site, Pixiv, in 2017, it was acclaimed. My Senpai is Annoying won the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards’ web division in 2018. It also did seep its way into video content with various promo videos showcasing its second, third, and fourth volumes.
Sadly, not much else is known about this anime, when it will launch, if it will be dubbed, or how far along it is in production. It seems creator Shiro Manta is keeping pretty tight-lipped about its release. We’ll have to wait for more information to no doubt be spoon-fed to us.
